CORPORATE HEAD OFFICE

We were given the opportunity to provide signage for the new corporate office in South Perth. The brief called for a large internally illuminated logo, yet the building itself presented challenges for this type of signage in that the fascia’s were not a structural component of the building.

This meant that they did not lend themselves to having large, heavy signage hung from them. The solution we employed was to mount the signage on a custom fabricated “Raceway frame” which was powder coated the same colour as the building. We were then able to pick up solid fixing points inside the building structure to firmly anchor the frame and sign to the building. Doing this allowed us to minimise the fixing holes in the building and allowed us to hide all the wiring for the illumination inside the frame.

The resulting outcome has been ideal. The logos are fixed securely to this tricky building, with a minimum of fixing holes and all cables are both concealed and protected.

We spent some time balancing the illumination to get it perfect. LED modules were used so that we could take advantage of their long, maintenance free life and their low power consumption. The logos look amazing when illuminated at night.

We also produced a full suite of internal signs for the project, including laser cut acrylic signs featuring individual lettering mounted to various locations and framing of a unique aboriginal art piece that took centre stage in the reception area.
